Ein Großteil der Ausgabe war bereits mit der Eingabebestätigung von xev vorhanden, ich habe dann ca.8 verschiedene Funktionstasten betätigt

Die Ausgabe von xev zeigt, dass beim Drücken der Tasten die Keycodes 68 bis 74 zurückgegeben werden.

Welche Ausgabe liefert der Befehl

Falls das nix bringt, dann mache die Änderungen rückgängig, so dass das Modul toshiba_acpi wieder geladen wird, und versuch's damit: https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/Xbindkeys

 hat nichts genützt, ich hab das genau in der entsprechenden Zeile mit Thunar-Root eingefügt ebenso die Zeile in /etc/modeprobe.d/blacklist um den betreffenden Eintrag ergänzt, grub Update gemacht und neu gestartet.

Jetzt werde ich das erst mal wieder rückgängig machen.

vielleicht die Bildschirmhelligkeit und die Lautstärke, das sind jeweils zwei Tasten. Auf der Tastatur F2+F3, sowie F9+F10,
leider weiß ich nicht, welchen Code die vier Tasten haben, auch nicht die von Fn. Nochmal xev eingeben?

Für den Keycode, gib im Terminal den Befehl

xbindkeys -mkein und drücke die entsprechnede Tastenkombination. (siehe https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/Xbindkeys)
Die Befehle zum Ändern der Lautstärke (ohne ACPI, per pamixer, pactl oder amixer) stehen auch auf der Wiki-Seite.

Die Bildschirmhelligkeit dürfte nur über ACPI steuerbar sein (siehe Befehl acpi_listen), das scheint bei Deinem Notebook aber nicht zu funktionieren.

Was Du noch probieren könntest, um ACPI zum funktionieren zu bringen, wäre in der Datei /etc/default/grub die Zeile GRUB_CMDLINE_LINUX="acpi_osi=Linux acpi_backlight=vendor" eintragen, das Modul toshiba_acpi nicht blacklisten, und neu booten.

Evtl. hilft auch ein Kernel-Upgrade bzw. -Downgrade. Das müsstest Du durchprobieren.

Haben die FN-Tasten irgendwann mal unter Linux funktioniert?

PS: Habe gelesen, dass Du das Thema auch im Manjaro-Forum gestartet hast.
Mir wäre es lieber das dort weiterzuführen (ohne lästige Werbefenster und mit RSS-Feed).

Ich fühle mich im Manjaro Forum gut aufgehoben, allerdings geht es dort mit der Fn-Taste nicht weiter. Deswegen habe ich nach einer Alternativen gesucht.
Es ist wohl so, dass dieses Notebook viele Probleme macht und die Moderatoren nicht entzückt sind, wenn ich ihnen damit ihre Zeit stehle.
Das ist die zweite Installation von Manjaro auf diesem Notebook, die erste hatte ich mir durch Manipulationen mit Compiz so unbrauchbar gemacht, dass ich nicht mehr ins System kam. Heute weiß ich es besser, die Neuinstallation wäre nicht nötig gewesen und die jetzige Version von Compiz läuft auf dem Notebook stabil im Gegensatz zu den Versionen 08 und 09. Jetzt habe ich ein stabiles Compiz, dafür ist die zweite Installation schlechter als die erste, denn da funktionierte die Fn-Taste mit den Funktionstasten, neben anderen Auffälligkeiten wie Graphikkarten Treiber von Nvidia!
Jetzt kann ich Lautstärke und Bildschirmhelligkeit auch verändern, allerdings unter Verzicht von Fn und das ist nicht gut.

Falls es Dir nichts ausmacht, möchte ich mit dem Thema gerne hier bei Dir bleiben.

Ich hatte das Thema im Manjaro Forum schon mal auf gelöst gesetzt, als nichts mehr kam. Habe es aber wieder auf ungelöst gesetzt, weil ich allein nicht mehr weiter kam.

Wie ist es, wenn Du den Rechner über ein Manjaro-Live-Medium startest und wechselweise freie und unfreie Treiber im Bootmenü wählst? Funktionieren da die Fn-Tasten?

PS: Es macht mir nichts aus, das Thema hier zu behandeln. Nur ist die Manjaro-spezifische Unterstützung hier scheinbar nicht so gut und außer mir hat sich hier bisher leider noch niemand zu diesem Thema geäußert.
