Die Verbindung scheint zu funktionieren, sonst würde es ja mit den Browsern auch nicht klappen.

Sind leider nur "Allgemeinplätze", die da drin stehen...

Aber trag mal testweise entweder die DNS-Server von Deinem Provider oder die von Google (8.8.8.8 und 8.8.4.4) ein statt Deinem Router.

Ansonsten habe ich keinerlei Probleme, weder beim surfen noch beim Nexuiz zocken. 

seltsame Sache.

kontrolliere mal im sysconfig-Editor, ob da ein Proxy gesetzt ist.

Es ist KEIN Proxy gesetzt.

Ich verstehe das nicht. Im Netz finde ich dazu keinen Hinweis weil das wahrscheinlich nur mich betrifft.
Bei der Suse 11.4 hatte ich ähnliche Problem und habs nicht in den Griff bekommen und deshalb habe ich wieder auf 11.3 gewechselt.

Der Nameserver muß funktionieren weil ich alles mit normaler Adresse anpingen kann und außerdem könnte ich ja sonst keine Adresse in den Browser eingeben

Ich weiß echt nicht mehr weiter.......

Ipv6 hatte ich auch schon deaktiviert, Firewall an und aus, keine Ahnung was ich noch machen könnte.  ???

Hardware Probleme schließe ich aus weil es ja vorhin noch gefunzt hat mit der 11.3.

Ich habe inzwischen einige Hinweise im Netz mit gleichem Problem gefunden.

Diese hatten entweder einen Proxy drin oder das Problem konnte durch das Änderen des Nameservers gelöst werden.

So weit waren wir hier aber auch schon. 

Mir selber ist das Problem (leider?) noch nicht begegnet.

Aber da fällt mir noch was ein:

war anfangs aktiviert? - schau mal nach, ob ein IPV4-Gateway gesetzt ist.

Merkwürdig war auch schon während der Installation das der Netzwerktest negativ war.
Sowas hatte ich noch nie!

Weißt Du noch, was beim Netzwerktest bemängelt wurde?
Hast Du bei der Installation statische IP's vergeben?

Exakt gleiche Problem bei der 11.4 schon?

Hast Du frisch von CD installiert oder per Upgrade ?

...aber Du bist nicht zufällig Alice-Kunde, oder?
Wenn ja: hast Du den test mit den DNS-Servern mit den Alice-Servern gemacht? - dann mal die von Google testen.

Soweit ich mich erinnern kann war auch eine Zeitüberschreitung das Übel.
Bei der 11.4 war der Unterschied das ich mit ca. 5bit/s downloaden konnte.
Das wechselte auch mal auf 500bits/s, also eine Ewigkeit für eine kleine Datei das Update dauerte Tage aber jetzt kommt ja keine Verbindung zu stande.

Installiert habe ich frisch von der CD.

Ich habe mich natürlich auch noch umgesehen und habe mal den Befehl 

/etc/init.d/network restart -o debug

getestet  und dabei kam das raus:
