Win XP: Was ist denn da passiert? Log-Datei in kryptischem Ordner auf F:\

Gestern wurde beim Schutdown die automatische Update-Installationsrotine von XP ausgeführt. Es wurden sieben Updates durchgeführt.
Eben finde ich auf meinem F-Laufwerk (!) einen Ordner namens 1a3a311cdbe15ebf819f9d und darin eine Datei namens msxml4-KB927978-deu.log

Was ist denn das für ein Schrott? Hat da irgend jemand eine Peilung?

Die Datei gehört "Administratoren", weshalb ich als eingeschränkter User, mit dem ich zu dem Zeitpunkt angemeldet war, keinen Zugriff hatte.
