I think I may have an answer for this one!
If your pc or laptop is an Acer, it is your eRecovery software causing the 'Monitor-Invalid License ID' message on startup. Same thing was happening to a laptop I did a fix on. Took me 3 days to work out how to fix it.
All you need to do is rename the monitor.exe which is located in C:/program files/acer/eRecovery
I just named it 'recovery' and it worked fine.
Hope that helps anyone looking for info on the same problem.
I had this errors pop up every time i started my desktop (really annoying):
first one 2 times:
MONITOR
Invalid License ID
and then later:
the Second error:
ACER eRECOVEY MANAGEMENT
INT15 ERROR
eRECOVERY MUST BE TERMINATED.
so I searched on the internet and found things to do with register and msconfig but nothing helped.....
THIS IS THE SOLUTION!!
I searched for monitor.exe with windows search
it was found in the erecovery folder
so I renamed monitor in monitor2
and then i saw erecovey in the same folder so I renamed erecovey in erecovery2.
i restarted and the error didn't pop up!!!!
