Ja ich habe Neuinstalliert und dann das YOU update gemacht nach dem Neustart ging nix mehr. Anschließend wollte ich eigentlich das KDE update machen aber es geht ja nix mehr.

Ey das kann mal garnicht sein, wo kann man linux deinstallieren bitte?? das geht ma garnicht? ich bin nämlich neuling und will linux zwar behalten, muss aber nochmal kurzzeitig nur windows haben...aber ich habe jetzt SUSE linux 9.1 und weiß nicht wo ich es deinstallieren kann.
wenn ich die CD 1 einlege, erscheint nur: neuinstallation, reparieren des Systems und noch so was, aber nichts von Deinstallation.
kann mir da einer helfen??

mhmh, habs mal mit gdisk probiert, aber das klappt nich weil das eine .exe datei ist und das öffnet sich nicht...

Wieso kann man Linux nicht Deinstallieren das geht und zwar wenn man noch eine Startdiskette von WIN 98 hat damit geht es. Und zwar via FDISK mit der Startdiskette oder du machst es mit der CD 1 oder der Live DVD von der Suse stellst  im BIOS das Cd-rom laufwerk auf first boot und schon startet Suse, dann brauchste nur beim booten Installation zu Markieren und der Rechner fährt YAST hoch dort kannst du dann eine Neuinstallation wählen. Oder bei FDISK löscht du die nicht Logischen Laufwerke.
Glaube es ist Taste 3 um ein Laufwerk zu löschen dann wieder Taste 3 um das nicht logische Laufwerk zu löschen dann das ganze ein weiteres mal um das andere Laufwerk zu Löschen da du ja zwei Partitionen hast von Linux einmal die SWAP und die Hauptpartition.
P.S. Vergesse aber nicht den Neustart zwischen den beiden Löschungen da sonst die ganze Sache nicht Funzt.

löle...ich bin da sehr gut mitgekommen... ich probier das jetzt mal, glaub aber net das ich das gleich beim 1. versuch packe, klingt irgendwie schwer  
aber ich versuchs mal

Ich habe das mit der dvd von suse gemacht, was du mir vorgeschlagen hast, ich bin dann in das menü gegangen wo man patitionieren kann, aber ich weiß jetzt nicht was ich löschen soll, und was bleiben soll von wegen den swap-partitionen und so...ich will von den dateien auf meiner festplatte nichts behalten, aber ich will die festplatte auch nicht kaputt machen   das wäre ja nicht so gut...
aber das problem is ja auch, ich will linux deinstallieren und wenn ich bei YaST auf neuinstallation klicke, dann macht er linux einfach neu, das will ich aber nicht...oder macht er das nich neu dann?
ich hab echt mal keine ahnung hier...

Es geht mit der installations-CD von XP-Pro
auch, bzw besorge dir Partitionsmagic 8.0,um ohne Festplattenbeschädigung den ehem. Linuxbereich umzu-
formatieren(auch umgekehrt möglich mit PM8.0)

@Ham71: es hagelt ja nur so an Fehlermeldungen! Offenbar wird der neuere Kernel nicht gescheit kompiliert! Warum das so ist kann ich Dir leider auch nicht beantworten- hatte solche argen Probs mit Linux nie! Hoffentlich kann Dir hier noch jemand die Fehlerquelle benennen, da meine eigenen(suse)Linux Kenntnisse noch bescheiden sind!!

Meine lieben so wie es aussieht liegt es wohl an dem Kernel .108 denn mit dem .95 läuft allet wunderbar.

Das ist für mich ein Rätsel!? Habe damit nie Probleme gehabt!: .108 mit KDE 3.3 -scheint wohl recht Hardwareabhängig zu sein!?
