Win XP: Daten-dvd brennen mit Nero geht nicht

Hallo,
ich versuche avi Dateien als Daten dvd zu brennen, aber irgendwie kommen immer wieder Fehler. Ich habe jetzt schon 5 Brennprogramme (eine davon Nero versucht aber bei alle tretten Fehler auf. Andere Sachen brennen (wie BUP, VOB, usw.) geht schon gut, also mit dem brenner ist nichts los. Lediglich Daten-dvd's gehen nicht.
Kann jemand mir vielleicht sagen was ich falsch mache?
